All Wood Bedroom Furniture By JOHNSTON-TOMBIGBEE Johnston-Tombigbee's Bedroom Furniture is skillfully manufactured by well trained and experienced people who take great pride in producing a product that is designed to provide many years of service. J.T.B.'s wide variety of styles and price ranges assures consumer acceptance. Johnston-Tombigbee's all wood furniture starts with strict specifications and quality control of kiln dried hardwood lumber, wood veneers, composite wood panel materials and all other necessary components. Johnston-Tombigbee's construction features are essentially the same in all groups, utilizing strong mortise and tenon construction methods on primary joints with liberal use of glue, screws, staples and corner blocking to assure strength and durability regardless of style or price range. All exposed structural components are solid hardwood or genuine hardwood veneer laminated to composite wood corestock. Case good tops, end panels and bed panels are wood veneered composite panel. Drawers consist of French dovetail solid hardwood fronts with grained wood composite sides, backs, and bottoms. All have metal center guides installed on lubricated wood case members with positive out-stops to prevent accidental drawer removal. All exposed surfaces are machine sanded prior to assembly. After assembly, all exposed surfaces are manually sanded prior to receiving a 12-step and lacquer finish; beginning with NGR stain and ending with high solids catalyzed lacquer. After finishing, trim hardware is installed. Each piece is thoroughly inspected prior to packaging for shipment to J.T.B.'s customers.
